Failed admin / PIN auth attempts (failed_auth_log). Probing from an allowlisted IP/CIDR is still logged here but does NOT send an alert email. Auto-pruned after 7 days.

Where permit deep-links resolve, by demand. "Map next" = jurisdictions falling back to a generic search, ranked by brief volume (last 90 days). Fed by permit_resolved / permit_clicked events.

Passive health of the FREE data sources, derived hourly from logged failures + a last-good heartbeat (no active polling). A "down" source means that brief section degrades to an honest gap — never a fabricated value. Paid sources are never health-probed. NOAA ENC comes from its own canary.

One-click control over the section kill-switches and operational flags (no D1 SQL). Each change writes app_meta via the guarded /admin/flags endpoint and is confirmed before it saves. Section toggles take effect on new briefs immediately and on already-published briefs within ~60 seconds; ops flags apply to newly generated briefs.
